Omega-3s are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids that your body can’t make itself, so you have to get them from your diet. They’re found naturally in fish oil — meaning it can be difficult to get enough of it from what you eat alone, if you don’t eat enough fish in your diet.
What is omega-3?
Omega-3s are a group of essential fatty acids that play numerous important roles in your body. They occur naturally in one of two forms, triglycerides or phospholipids. As your body cannot produce omega-3s on its own, these fatty acids must be sourced from your diet.
Three important omega-3 essential fatty acids include ALA (alpha-linoleic acid), EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). DHA and EPA play a vital role in human physiology as they have benefits such as helping to support heart health.1
Where is omega-3 sourced from?
Our Essential Omega-3 is sourced from fish. If you are following a diet that excludes fish but are looking to supplement your omega-3 intake, it’s worth taking a look at our Vegan Omega, which is sourced from marine algae.
Alternatively, our Organic Chia Seeds are a natural, plant-based source of omega-3-6-9 and protein, and are a great addition to a healthy, balanced diet. They’re a versatile ingredient that can be added to your shakes, oats and bakes.

Report this reviewGreat value
Actually I’m not sure if these supplements work, (although I take a lot of them). I bought the 1000 capsules one and it has great value to it. Goes Well With:Take one after each meal
Report this reviewMost important supplement
For me, fish oils are probably the most important supplement as nowadays, it is quite complicated to have a good omega 3, omega 6 ratio. Tastes like fish but it is common for this kind of product. I recommend.Goes Well With:Water
